Solid 4 stars. Everything was good. Obviously, this is not a 5-star hotel, but it's pretty good and the best in town.
For context, I stay in hotels roughly 270-300 nights a year. Usually Marriot's, sometimes Hilton. Few are remembered, but this one surely is one a notch above the rest. I have never seen a place better managed than this one. Dorothy, at the front desk always went above and beyond to make the stay the best she possibly could. She would work the bar, make sure breakfast is top notch and after a long hard day, she'd greet you by name and somehow made you feel right at home. Thanks Dorothy for everything, will be back.
The rooms are nice spacious and clean. Staff were accommodating and friendly. I recently stayed at a location in Laredo that wasn’t very clean so it was nice seeing this location is being maintained well. I would stay here again.
This TownPlace has a great staff. They’re super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was always warm and had variety too. The beds are comfy and the kitchens are well stocked with all the basics. The room was pretty clean too. The rooms do need to have a look over. There were a lot of scuffs and spots missing paint in the room. Not sure if they’re remodeled and forgot to go back over. The gym was clean and it was nice that they had two grills too. They have a great bar too!
